UNISON believes that resourceful and committed public service workers organised through their union, UNISON, are best able to defend and promote the services in which they serve the public. With the knowledge that they bring to UNISON, the union aims to be a powerful voice in the debate to promote and protect public services. Through UNISON, they are also able to defend and advance their interests as employees.</p>
<p>UNISON South West is commmitted to the widest possible membership participation in union activity. Through membership involvement, the union will be more responsive and able to reflect the aims and aspirations of UNISON members.</P>
<p>Our aim is to create a union that is <b>OF</b> the members <b>BY</b> the members, rather than one <b>FOR</b> the members."
